July Top 20 anime

Sony Computer Entertainment has used PlayStation 3′s domestic digital recording system Torne to rank the top 20 anime in the Tokyo metropolitan area. The record accounts for shows watched between July 1 and August 4.

Best Anime of the 2010s Decade


The decade hasn't reached the middle point yet but anime fans over at BIGLOBE Anime site attempted to predict which anime will represent this decade on a poll about what is the best anime series of the 2010's decade? Over 10,000 fans voted in this poll and here are the results.

Top 10 most memorable Shounen Jump! manga

 For a few decades now, Weekly Shounen Jump! has entertained quite a few generations of readers, not only from Japan but also the entire world.

 

A Japanese TV show on Fuji TV named Shōgeki! Sansedai hikaku TV Generation tengoku Bangumi kihon jōhō has recently ranked the ten best Shounen Jump! manga according to the number of impactful or memorable scenes that readers from three different age groups can recall.

The three different age groups were termed the “Banana generation” (readers in their 50s or 60s), “Kiwi generation” (30s or 40s), and “Mango generation” (10s or 20s).

The most popular female voice actresses according to female anime fans


Voice actresses have their own personal fan base and they often interact with fans either online through their own blogs or at live events. However, the majority of a voice actress’s fan base is male.

Japanese anime website, Anime One has recently conducted an online poll asking only GIRLS who their favorite female voice actress or seiyuu is.

If you don’t see your favorite voice actresses in there, remember that this poll only asked for female respondents, not males. With a total of 7280 votes, here are the results:
