NPR ran their annual poll with its readers to see what the top
hundred science fiction and fantasy books would be and they got over
60,000 ballots. The results have
made their way online and we’ve got the top hundred books here.
Not
surprisingly, a lot of older books dominate the list in the uppermost
sections, books that have been considered “the best” for decades, and
that’s causing the usual round of hairpulling and teeth gnashing about
what good really means, if it holds up and so forth.
